This Privacy Policy explains how CaseLens (“CaseLens”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use caselens.in. We collect the minimum needed to run the service.

  • Account data: your email address (used for magic-link sign-in and service emails).
  • Usage data: the cases you choose to track (CNR numbers, party names, court and hearing details), and drafts you generate.
  • Billing data: if you subscribe to Pro, our payment processor (Razorpay) handles your payment details. We store only your subscription status and identifiers — we never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical data: standard server logs and cookies needed for authentication and security.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the service — sign-in, tracking cases, generating summaries and drafts.
  • To operate billing and subscriptions.
  • To send essential service emails (e.g. the magic sign-in link).
  • To secure, maintain, and improve the service.

3. Service providers we share data with

We use trusted third parties strictly to run CaseLens:

  • Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account and tracked cases).
  • eCourtsIndia — licensed source of court data, queried when you search or track a case.
  • Anthropic — AI model provider used to summarise order text and draft skeletons.
  • Razorpay — payment processing for the Pro subscription.
  • Vercel — application hosting; Resend — transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

4. Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing shreygupta2910@gmail.com from your account email; we will confirm and remove your data within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention requirements.

5. Security

Access is protected by email magic-link authentication, database row-level security, and server-only handling of secrets. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us. You may also stop using the service at any time.
